Frankie Avalon & Annette Funnicello Signed Beach Party Contract
Back to beach with Frankie and Annette! This three-page document, related to the production of a proposed Filmways Pictures movie, is dated May 24, 1982, and is signed in blue ballpoint pen by Frankie Avalon and Annette Funnicello. It reads in part:"...original literary work written by Frankie Avalon...entitled 'Untitled Beach Party Project"....the undersigned Frantone Music, Inc. and Cello, Inc. (hereinafter collectively called Producer)....hereby sells, assigns, transfers and conveys to Filmways Pictures, Inc....and assigns, all right, title and interest, of whatsoever kind and nature, which Producer now has or may hereafter acquire..." The documents proceeds to detail measures related "to...recovery of damages, penalties or costs in respect of or from infringement; or violation of any copyright. Its extensions or renewals, or any other right title or interest herein granted...by Producer to Filmways as a result of any claim(s), action(s), suit(s) or proceeding(s) brought by Filmways hereunder is herby assigned to and shall be recoverable by and paid to Filmways its successors and assigns..." The future project is presumably the 1987 made-for-television movie "Back to the Beach," which reunited Avalon and Funnicello, the stars of the popular series of six "Beach Party" movies during the mid-1960's. The 11" x 14" document exhibits light handling wear and a mailing fold.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
