FRANK K. KNOX SIGNED SECRETARY OF THE NAVY FLAG
FRANK K. KNOX (1874 - 1944) Secretary of the Navy in Franklin D. Roosevelt's cabinet, staunch Republican and political reformer. A neat World War II relic, a 58" x 57" period cotton flag, the official flag of the Secretary of the Navy, bears sewn-on white anchor and entwined anchor line with white stars at four corners. The canvas hoist bears brass grommets and has been boldly signed "Frank K. Knox". A 2" hole is evident near the hoist, otherwise very good.

Shipping

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. NOTE: Large, heavy or bulky items are not shipped by the auctioneer - arrangements for shipping of these items via a third-party shipper may be arrange through the auction house.
