A.L.S, 1p, 4to., Buffalo, NY, Dec. 1, 1835, written as an attorney and Member of Congress. In part: "Please to search for judgments and decrees in Equity against Amansel D. Jackson for ten years past...and charge your fees to Fillmore & Hall". The verso contains the address leaf franked "Free M. Fillmore, M.C." and addressed in his hand. In all, Fillmore provides three variations of his signature on one letter. Fine. $400 - 600
