"EVERY GIRL PULLING FOR VICTORY" PROPAGANDA POSTER
American World War I propaganda poster, 21" x 27" (sight), entitled "Every Girl Pulling for Victory" and illustrated with an image of a young woman in a sailor''s jersey rowing a boat with the name "VICTORY" emblazoned on the stern. The bottom edge bears the subtitle: "Victory Girls - United War Work Campaign", in reference to the fundraising campaign led by the coalition of the American Library Association, Jewish Welfare Board, Knights of Columbus, the Salvation Army, War Camp Community Service, YMCA and YWCA. The artist''s initials "E.P." appear beneath the image. The poster is matted and framed, and shows some folds and chips to the visible edges, else very good. SOLD WITH: American World War I propaganda poster, 19" x 24 1/4" (sight), bearing the exhortation "Buy Another - Join the YD" on a red and blue background, with the legend "Victory Liberty Loan" at bottom. The "YD" refers to the 26th Infantry Division, often referred to as the "Yankee Division". Shows minor soiling, else very good.

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight. Please contact us for an estimate before bidding NOTE: Large, heavy or bulky items may not be shipped by the auctioneer - arrangements for shipping of these items via a third-party shipper may be arranged through the auction house. Customers who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee. Please allow 2-3 weeks for shipments after receipt of payment due to the high volume of packages being shipped.
