Description:

EVA BRAUN
(1912 - 1945) German mistress and later wife of Nazi fuhrer Adolf Hitler, she later committed suicide with him in the basement of the Chancellery. Rare A.L.S. in dark blue-green ink on the verso of a postcard showing the Palazzo Ducale in Venice, canceled Venice, April 29, 1983, to "The Braun Family" in Munich, sending news of her vacation and mentioning her beautiful hotel. Signed "Eva". In 1938 Hitler would name Braun as his heir...and this letter certainly attests to her lavish lifestyle maintained throughout the War. Fine condition.
