A nice pair of items, the first an S.P. 8" x 10" b/w, an aerial view of the destruction of Hiroshima showing the mushroom cloud overcoming the city. Boldly signed by Enola Gay crewmembers: PAUL TIBBETS (who adds: "PILOT - ENOLA GAY"), GEORGE P. CARON (who adds "HIROSHIMA 8/6/45"), TOM FEREBEE (who adds "Bombardier"), and THEODORE DUTCH VAN KIRK (who adds "Navigator"). Along with a souvenir copy of the first page of the New York Times, Tuesday, Aug. 7, 1945, announcing the news of the bombing. Measuring 8 1/2" x 11", it is signed at top by Tibbets, who again adds: "PILOT - ENOLA GAY - 6 AUG 1945". Two pieces, fine.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made.
