EMIL MAURICE
(1897 - 1972) Early friend of Adolf Hitler and Supreme SA leader, imprisoned with Hitler and Rudolf Hess at Landsberg after the failure of the Beer Hall Putsch, founder of the SS and Member No. 2 (after Hitler). A pair of signed items, includes: S.P. 6 1/4" x 4" b/w, an image of Maurice at the wheel of a car, presumably while serving as Hitler's chauffeur, signed at bottom, with a T.L.S. on his personal letterhead, 1p. 4to., Rotterdam, Sept. 2, 1965 giving the address of Hitler's other chauffeur, Erich Kempka. Fine.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. NOTE: large, heavy or bulky items are not shipped by the auctioneer.
