ELVIS PRESLEY PERSONAL MEMORABILIA
A fabulous collection of personal (and oddball!) relics once belonging to the 'King of Rock 'n' Roll', Elvis Presley, all with good provenance. Included in this grouping is: a 7 x 5 in. section of pleated green leather taken from a 1977 Cadillac Seville purchased by Presley for a young lady he happened to meet in the automobile showroom...and who he subsequently vacationed with for a week. With solid provenance including from the original car dealer (with Presley's credit card receipt for two Sevilles), from the young lady, subsequent owners, Juliens Auctions, etc. Also included: a 5 x 4 in. section of heavy burgundy cloth from a stage curtain used at Presley's Lawhon grammar school in Tupelo, with a copy of a letter of provenance from the principal and two others; a 3.5 x 3.5 in. section of white bedsheet from a king size bedsheet used by Presley in Odessa, Texas opn May 29, 1977 with a form letter presenting it to a fan club member by the head of the 'Elvis Presley Burning Love Fan Club', 1986; two 3 x 3 in. sections of cloth taken from clothes worn by Presley, one with the original presentation photo-image envelope from RCA Records; and an 8 in. long section of a motorcycle tire sidewall from a Harley purchased on Aug. 11, 1976 and given by Presley to his cousin Billy Smith. With COA signed by Elvis Presley Museum president Jimmy Velvet. A really net collection of memorabilia!

Due to complications from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we will ship with USPS Priority Mail only if the buyer submits their request to us in writing and accepts responsibility for delayed shipments. Signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight. Please contact us for an estimate before bidding NOTE: Large, heavy or bulky items may not be shipped by the auctioneer - arrangements for shipping of these items via a third-party shipper may be arranged through the auction house. Customers who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
