ELIPHALET AND SAMUEL REMINGTON
(1828 - 1924) American gun manufacturer, a co-owner with brothers Philo and Samuel of E. Remington & Sons gun-makers. Eliphalet was responsible for the construction of the plant at Ilion, New York and the purchase of equipment and contracts from Ames. A pair of signed checks drawn on Ilion Bank, both engrossed and signed in 1854. SAMUEL REMINGTON orders a payment to "G. Petrie", June 28, 1854, while ELIPHALET REMINGTON orders a payment to Carpenter & Dygert on May 24, 1854. Cut cancels at middle, very good.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry.
