ALBERT EINSTEIN . T.L.S. on his blind-embossed Princeton letterhead, 1p. 4to., Princeton, Dec. 18, 1938, in German to L.E. Levick, in part: "...I am sorry to tell you that I cannot afford to take the initiative of a letter to Mr. Sulzberger. But I have no objections if you want to refer to me a letter...mention...that you wrote an article with which I totally concurred...I am looking forward to seeing you at Mr. Bucky's house... ". Dr. Gustav Bucky (1880-1963) was a close friend of Einstein, and known for his discovery and development of the Bucky Diaphragm, used on x-ray machines to prevent unnecessary scatter of radiation.
