Charming A.L.S. "Edward" with holograph transmittal envelope, 2pp. 4to., Paris, July 23, 1964 to his friend, actor Clifton Webb. In part: "...I'm very thrilled that you're going to settle in N.Y....Jamaica is only 5 hours door to door...I wonder if you'll honour my beastly little house this year...I'm thinking of letting it...It's cost an awful lot of those old pennies...Noel [Coward] has let us his [?] 4 months this winter...I'll take the car and go over to Biarritz to paint...". Sold with a 1930 telegram from Edward to Webb sending Christmas greetings. Two pieces. $300 - 400
