1362. THOMAS A. EDISON (1847-1931) American inventor of the electric light, phonograph, typewriter, and microphone, to name a few. Considered perhaps the greatest inventor of the century. A.N.S. signed with initial "E" 1p. 8vo., [n.p., 1921], to an unnamed recipient but undoubtedly Jaffrey P. Buchanan, manager of Edison's Record Disc Division. In part: "...What we need is to prevent grinders from getting too hot & water cooling all over whenever possible...". Boldly written in his customary pencil, very good. $300-400
