(1890 - 1969) 34th President of the United States, Supreme Commander of Allied forces in Europe during World War II and largely responsible for the successful invasion on D-Day. Unusual A.N.S., 1p. 8vo., an envelope from the National City Bank of New York, inscribed to the family of his former aide-de-camp, Ernest "Tex" Lee enclosing what was likely a savings bond or perhaps cash: "For Dwight D Eisenhower Lee William Myers Lee & their parents from Mamie & Dwight D Eisenhower" Light marginal wear, a few minor pinholes at toe, else near fine condition.
