1674. MARIE DUBAS (1894 - 1972) German-Jewish cabaret singer and comedienne, banned by the collaborationist Vichy government, and arrested by the Gestapo, forcing her to flee to Switzerland until the war's end. Unusual I.S.P. 7" x 9" b/w, showing Dubas in classic 1920s garb, smiling broadly for the camera. Inscribed in brown ink in French to A. Zylstra, dated 1954. In very good condition, simply framed. Unexamined out of frame. $50-75
