DRIVE-IN MOVIE EPHEMERA

An eclectic lot of material relative to drive-in movie theaters. Includes a 33 rpm LP issued by Pacific Drive-in Theatres to be used from Feb. 17 to Mar. 2, 1965 with audio for preshow and intermission; vintage 1940s advertising flyers for drive in movie equipment including speakers, and projectors; a press book for the film The Wreck of the Mary Deare exhorting theatre owners to sell the film to women by using the catch-line: "A man's picture that women love!"; lobby cards for The Boys in Company C, Battleground (8), and Fantastic Voyage (8); four hand-painted ticket signs and a "NO-SHOW TONITE" sign; a 1966 United Artists booking calendar; a poster sized 1967 booking calendar; two plastic soda and popcorn advertisements (the back-lit type); a shrink-wrapped set of admission tickets to the Skyline Drive-In theatre in Madison, In. and more. Overall condition very good to fine. Should be viewed.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
