1069. DOUGLAS MACARTHUR'S LIFE IN PHOTOS An important grouping of about 90 photographs, most 8" x 10" b/w, showing Douglas MacArthur's entire military career in photographs, from his days at West Point through World War II and Korea, though the vast majority of the photographs are AP images from during World War II. Other images include MacArthur in his post-war career, his wife Jean at various times in her life, family images, and so on. One of the images also shows MacArthur, Eisenhower, and Omar Bradley enjoying a laugh together. A very difficult collection to assemble, obtained directly from MacArthur's own files retained by his secretary employed at Remington Rand. Overall very good. $400 - 600
