JAMES H. DOOLITTLE (1896-1993) American aviator who gained fame both as a racing pilot and as leader of the first air raid on Tokyo during World War II. Late signature on a commemorative FDC horning the 50th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor, cancelled fifty years after Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1991, with a photograph affixed at left. At bottom right, Doolittle signs in a rather shaky hand. Fine condition. $50-75
