(1825 - 1914) Union major general who commanded a brigade at Chancellorsville and Gettysburg, where his rash advance in the Peach Orchard nearly caused a Union rout. T.L.S. 1p. 8vo., New York, June 8, 1903, to a customs brokerage firm, in part: "...Enclosed pray find an invoice of some articles sent to me from South Africa, as a present, by one of my old soldiers...which I beg you will put through the customs...". Pin holes, slight smearing to signature, otherwise very good.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
