CONQUERING GERMANS CONFISCATE FOREIGN CURRENCY AND GOLD IN KRAKOW
Rare broadside, 23" x 16 1/2", Krakow, Nov. 26, 1939, signed in type by I. V. Beyss, the Leader of the Division of Foreign Exchange of the new German occupation government. The broadside, printed in German and Polish, sets forth strict new banking laws imposed upon the subjugated Poles, including severe restrictions on any foreign money transactions, stock transactions, sale of gold in any form, and so on. The law also sets an exchange rate of two zlotys per German reichsmark. One fold, else fine condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
