Confederate tract, 8pp. 8vo., South Carolina Tract Society, published by Evans & Cogswell, Charleston [n.d.], #103, An Appeal to Young Soldiers. By a Young Lady. The tract uses a great deal of Biblical references to convince potential enlistees of the importance of their decision to join up, also citing: "...The goodness of the cause...The certainty of victory...The pleasantness of the service...The greatness of the reward" with constant references to the "King of Kings" being a Southern sympathizer of sorts. With a list of all tracts published by the society, Light water stain, else very good.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry.
