A fine collection of seven Confederate brigadier generals' signatures in various formats. Includes: HENRY A. WISE (1806-1876) most known for his involvement in the failed camel corps, war-date cover to his wife: ‘Mrs. Henry A. Wise', 1862, HENRY C. WAYNE (1815-1883) who was with Lee at Appomattox, war-date partly-printed D.S., Milledgeville, Apr. 27, 1861, letter sending a commission, JAMES A. WALKER (1832-1901) commander of the Stonewall Brigade, A.L.S. on his legal letterhead, sending papers, ROBERT TOOMBS (1810-1885) who performed well at Antietam, cut signature pasted to a photograph, WILLIAM TERRY (1824-1888) last commander of the Stonewall brigade, 1873 A.L.S. wishing a Yankee general luck in an appointment, WILLIAM B. TALIAFERRO (1822-1898) served with Stonewall Jackson through the Valley campaign, A.L.S. requesting donations to a parish, and CLEMENT H. STEVENS (1821-1864) builder of the Morris Island Battery across from Fort Sumter, signed Confederate ten dollar South Carolina banknote. Very good.

Due to complications from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we will ship with USPS Priority Mail only if the buyer submits their request to us in writing and accepts responsibility for delayed shipments. Signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight.
