CONFEDERATE BEARER NOTES Interesting collection of three different Bank of Augusta (Georgia) bearer notes, all unused, in denominations of 5 cents, 25 cents, 50 cents, each payable to the bearer on demand, in confederate notes when the sum of five dollars is presented, Augusta, Ga., Jan. 1, 1863. Printed on the verso of obsolete (pre-secession) four dollar Bank of Augusta promissory notes, engraved by A, B & C Durand Wright Co. In fine condition. Also included in this lot: three El Banco of Spain, Isla de Cuba bank notes printed by the American Banknote Co., series 1896-1897, in denominations of 10, 20 and fifty centavos. Usual light creases and toning, else very good; and a scarce Mormon store coupon good for five cents (face value) in produce and provisions at the "Bishop's General Store House". Fine. $150 - 200
