Description:

COLE PORTER
(1891 - 1964) American composer and lyricist of the classic musicals Anything Goes, Kiss Me Kate, and Can-Can. A cryptic T.L.S. 1p. 4to., New York, Nov. 27, 1957, on letterhead of The Waldorf-Astoria to fellow composer Irving Schlein. In part: "...Thank you for your letter...I am so glad you wrote it to me, as I understand everything now.
