The corporation existed in several forms until 1967. T.L.S. "Clem. Studebaker" on his personal letterhead, 1p. 4to., South Bend, Nov. 15, 1897 to H. A. Spaulding sending thanks: "...For your kind words in reference to my Brother; I appreciate them very highly coming as I know they do from one who was a friend to my Brother as well as myself. Mrs. Colfax is well...[her son] Schuyler is developing into quite a successful manufacturer...I think you would be interested in our works, and I would like to have you see my home...". Some toning, and signature is blurred, else very good.
