CIVIL WAR MEMORIAL LITHOGRAPH
Magnificent war-date lithograph published by Sarony, Major, and Knapp, Sep. 9, 1863, Broadway, NY, 17 1/2" x 21", titled, "SOLDIERS MEMORIAL", a homage to the gallant men of Company H-- 81st Regiment-- New York State Volunteers, mustered into service on Dec. 20, 1861. The lithograph, colorized, is illustrated with images of Zouaves (in full attire), soldiers in hand-to-hand combat, heraldic eagles, Lady Liberty, the original "Great" Shield and more! Most important is the comprehensive roll call which lists over 175 soldiers by rank and categorizes them as discharged, injured, MIA, or KIA. Additional data includes all engagements and raids in which the 81st participated - to the day the lithograph was published! Framed, uneven toning at margin with a chip at lower hand corner, with minor water staining in the same area.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
