Good collection of thirty-two original Civil War pistol, rifle and musket projectiles of various calibers and configurations, presented in three distinct groups as follows: set of four intact rifle bullets, two deformed bullets and two musket balls, with accompanying label describing them as relics of the Battle of South Mountain, recovered from Fox's Gap on July 30, 1974 and originating from the collection of D.R. Hinks. Each example is marked with the accession number "185" in black ink. WITH: set of eight .58 caliber minie balls, all in various deformed states, with accompanying label describing them as being recovered from the Star Fort at Winchester, Virginia in 1972, and originating from the collection of D.R. Hinks. All are marked with various black ink accession numbers. WITH: Display of fifteen pistol, rifle and musket projectiles, each glued to an individual red felt backing affixed to a wood plaque. 32 pieces overall. Sold with a Confederate States of America ten dollar bill, series of April 6, 1863, stamped with the date "November, 1863" in red and signed by a registrar and the Confederate treasurer. In very good condition.

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight.
