Description:

CHOU EN-LAI
(1898-1976) Chinese revolutionary and politician, the chief diplomatic representative of the Communist Party as the Premier of the People's Republic of China. Exceptionally rare and desirable vintage signature in black fountain ink, penned on a 6" x 3 1/2" card. Beneath it, GAMAL ABDEL NASSAR also signs. Nasser (1918-1970), was the second President of Egypt who led the 1952 revolution that removed Farouk I and heralded a modernization of that country. Above En-Lai's signature is another signature of a head of state, not identified. Handsomely matted so that En-Lai's signature is the only visible of the three, set in black with two portraits of him, and ready to frame. Easily removable from mat should another style of presentation be desired. Fine condition.
