417. PADDY CHAYEFSKY (1923-1981) American dramatist who transitioned from the golden age of live television in the 1950s to have a successful career as a playwright and screenwriter for Hollywood. Fine lot of three typed manuscripts signed, all plays written by Chayefsky and inscribed to noted columnist Leonard Lyons, includes "The Dybbuk From Woodhaven" in which the dramatist notes that Lyons will "be read long after I will", "Gideon", with the inscription comparing Lyons' wife Sylvia to a character in the play, signed "Paddy", and "The Passion of Josef D.", also signed "Paddy". Three pieces, very good.
