(1934 - 2017) Drifter whose 'family' committed the infamous Tate-LaBianca murders in 1969. Lengthy A.L.S., 18pp. 4to., San Quentin State Prison, Oct. 31, 1986, to his biographer Nuel Emmons. In small part: "...the power of drugs could be used for good...Government makes up rules like they were mom & dad & doing it for your own good. Everyone knows that's B.S....if I want to eat shit that should be my own affair...I would rather be boor being poor is as much fun & at times more fun...people touch money & go crazy - that's why I won't fuck with no little money - Big money is maybe worth the game that goes with it - but NOT chicken feed...Then is when you need my love...all roots & herbs of the Earth were put there by gods...The Government could use the drugs to reseeded the parks & work people for the good..." Much more notable content. Manson signs twice: once on the second page "Easy Manson" adding a "fuse" to his signature, signed again on the last page. Sold with transmittal envelope, bearing Manson's signature in the return address. From the estate of Manson's biographer NUEL (MELTON) EMMONS (1927-2002), who had once been jailed with and later befriended Manson. He co-wrote 'Manson in His Own Words'.
