(1934 - 2017) Drifter whose 'family' committed the infamous Tate-LaBianca murders in 1969. A.L.S. ‘EZA' with a reversed swastika, 4pp. 4to., [n.p., n.d.], to his biographer Nuel 'Mel' Emmons. In part: '...I've written notes but don't seem to be any one – just a TV camera...The cell changes means they let the old prison go and they want to make up a new one. I've got enough poison in me to destroy a house. You can forget transfer...The only way they can move me is work orders for welding or lights or plumbing. I'm working for the paint crew next...I know the things they do to me will be 100 fold to the winners. Speaking of winners I had to beat you on the hand ball...that fat woman with the [?] hair and tons of make-up are wanting to run for the rats fear – they had to pick up dirt to keep me slammed last [parole] committee – and truth is I don't give a fuck...My life has been taken and played off to the north pole, south pole and around the world...I can't even go out of the cell to shower unless I'm throwing off the tears [?]...people always send me letters saying God loves me with no return address.
