Description:

(1934-2017) Drifter whose 'family' committed the infamous Tate-LaBianca murders in 1969. Lengthy, incoherent A.L.S., 9pp. 4to., Vacaville, [n.d., ca. 1980], to his biographer Nuel Melton, aimlessly rambling without direction yet mentioning his 'years of programming to mass murder'. In part: '...Children's grown up in a year and thunder and lighting. The wars of mind become truth to live back up through movies and new minds free to run the earth...redeeming one's own life from the universe and then redeeming life on earth...Coming through the mouse and the spider running through the mouse....the book your writing its already been read and the people that would pay to cut trees down will fly away on the backs of little bugs...I know you better than you do because I'm more than you are...you made up a story about how you fought to protect my asshole...your heart would bust if you ever thought a peek of sex over me...you as full of shit as you are. That's why you didn't like me when we were in because you didn't want me to see inside you where you hide you mommas boy...I once thought you were cool and righteous dude with class and style and you were a copy cat...how many years have you been putting your life up for money...Did you think I was who you thought I was. Hehe you know I'm quite mad. I've had 13 years of programming to mass murder etc...One thing I learnt is that no one needs me, if a person thinks the world needs them they are in an illusion and if anyone person thinks I need them that works in other ways...' and much, much more. Accompanied by a hand addressed envelope. Fine condition. From a grouping of Manson's letters in the estate of his biographer NUEL (MELTON) EMMONS (1927-2002), who had once been jailed with and later befriended Manson. He co-wrote 'Manson in His Own Words.'
