(1934-2017) Drifter whose 'family' committed the infamous Tate-LaBianca murders in 1969. A.L.S. ‘EZ Raff', 2pp. large 4to., Vacaville, California, Feb. 25, 1980, to his biographer Nuel Emmons. In part: ‘...all the ATUHORITY [sic] FATHER reflections changes images...truth not only comes from crooks that have been truthful but gards [sic] and reform school staff...it would take a guy 600 years old in thought to see over the thought I'm thinking from the elusions [sic] to the raff 100 times to the asshole to the dust bowl...Here is a picture I wish you would send to Red...She also knows where the wolf thought started we didn't save the trees...What do you think about a cheep [sic] TV for Buck...' Signed at the conclusion with his characteristic reverse swastika. Mailing folds, else fine. Accompanied by the original holograph envelope. WITH a partial A.L.S. beginning halfway through, 7pp. large 4to., [n.p., n.d} to his biographer Nuel Emmons. In part: ‘...I can handle anything mind wise but man I'm a little dude...there must be an end to how much I can take before I must stick another dead body at them to keep them off of me...a lot of people can't understand me because they were never raged[?] of walked where we walked...Mel I've got so much fear around me...If I had been given 1% of my rights I would have at least got a space to walk – 10 years in a 6 x 10 with 45 minutes of walking in a 15 x 8 space...Germans hung for doing less to prisoners...I puked blood and shit blood for yeas but I would need to pay for a Dr. because people now days work for money...change must be put in motion as a lot of hell will bring new balance to crime in the streets...I'll never ever feel at easy with people and I don't feel they gonna feel at easy with me...One person can't be all the bad that I'm supost [sic] to be...I'm not the kind of guy to lonely because I always been alone and when alone I got no problems...Even the women at the ranch we would go days and days on 3 or 4 words...I find warm and comfort in women but not companionship...I enjoy your companionship because we got a lifetime of much on the same way to relate to...I'm convicted in people's minds for more than crime - I'm convicted for being a leader a religious Holy man...If the people that did what they did to me, Red, Blue, and the others got busted for what they did unlawful they would be in this cell...' Signed ‘Easy Manson' with his characteristic reverse swastika. Manson adds a postscript, reading in full: ‘P.S. I hope you temper that tape when you put my words into words the other people can understand – I did git kinda far out.' Mailing folds, else fine. From the estate of Manson's biographer NUEL (MELTON) EMMONS (1927-2002), who had once been jailed with and later befriended Manson. He co-wrote 'Manson in His Own Words'.
