Description:

CHARLES MANSON
(1934 - 2017) Drifter whose 'family' committed the infamous Tate-LaBianca murders in 1969. A.L.S., California, April 24, 1980, 2pp, 4to., to his biographer, Nuel Melton, who had once been jailed with and later befriended Manson. In part: '...Some people learn words from a book and the book explains the thoughts and feelings that go with the words - I'm the reverse to that. I git the feelings thoughts and then look for the words. I used a word majistey not because it fit what I was trying to express but because it was as close to what I was trying to explain - It's like a 10 years old brain in a 45 year old body - Dispensation of majisty is not what I was trying to say but it was close to a thought that has come to me...I got to thinking...LIKE into forever - as far back as THE MIND goes to where it will go (or where it) could go - Thought and its powers the hows, wheres whys, flows, etc...' Signed 'Easy Charles Manson' with swastika. Minor tear on bottom right, else fine.
