Description:

(1934-2017) Drifter whose 'family' committed the infamous Tate-LaBianca murders in 1969. Lengthy, rambling A.L.S. 'Ez Manson', 8pp. 4to., Vacaville, 1981, sent to his biographer Nuel Melton writing a long tirade. In part: '...I've been set up 9900 ways to nowhere, lied to 1,000,000 times put on cross after cross, lead up and down all the hallways in cuffs...I've fought, yelled, burnt and did everything human but I can't do nothing...I'm walking a thin line and I told you I'm NOT a tough guy...the chickens haven't stopped pecking on me...I tell you but you don't hear me...you hear what you want what's good for you...What do you expect you say I'm not your god but you keep asking me to be perfect and do miracles...All the things I say you never hear, and what you say you do half the time...I'm smacking butts, sitting a cell with nothing but the wall and I don't trust you...this book has turned into tomb...you been playing games...you're not gonna write my book unless you get with me. I realize I'm not easy to get with but that's not all my fault...I'm not saying you haven't been good so far its not you or me but a little of both...' Accompanied by a hand addressed envelope. Fine condition. From a grouping of Manson's letters in the estate of his biographer NUEL (MELTON) EMMONS (1927-2002), who had once been jailed with and later befriended Manson. He co-wrote 'Manson in His Own Words.'
