CHARLES MANSON
(1934 - 2017) Drifter whose 'family' committed the infamous Tate-LaBianca murders in 1969. Manuscript (unsigned), [n.p. , n.d.], 2pp. 4to., to his biographer, Nuel Melton, who had once been jailed with and later befriended Manson. In part: '...you look and seem like the same Mel I know - a bit more honest...You must realized by now I've been 1000 lifetimes...as we both are different people we still have a strong foundation in understanding...When you come bring your taperecorder and camria all your press stuff...Much should never be known but to a few because the mass jellyfish could only use it to hurt themselves...Mel I never growed up - I've been fucked over so much so long I was leary - Had you not been right with me long ago I wouldn't of even thought about it but so few people ever done me right and I never forgit any when they do I've never lost sight of the word friend only learnt what their really worth.' Manson adds two post-scripts, signing at the first one 'Easy Charles Manson' with swastika. He adds later thoughts on left and right edges. Fold at top edge, else fine.
