Description:

(1934 - 2017) Drifter whose 'family' committed the infamous Tate-LaBianca murders in 1969. A.L.S. 'Easy Manson', 2pp. 4to., San Quentin, August 8, 1985, to his biographer Nuel Melton. In part: '...Some of the staff I cant have here...they will not send to a box no...You know [Eddie] Ragsdale and I made a lot of much and writings he took our with him to Concord Calif, he was found dead and his old lady got the tapes and stuff locked in a bank...waiting for me to die. Shes good and nice to me...Shes a smart witch but maybe some one could get that stuff from her...I'm locked down again with zero to do, also I had some good sculptures left at O.T...' Signed at the conclusion. Accompanied by a hand addressed envelope. File holes to the left margin, minor ink show through. Eddie Ragsdale was a fellow inmate and musician who befriended and made music with Manson while incarcerated.
