NUEL (MELTON) EMMONS (1927-2002) American author and journalist who had once been jailed with and later befriended convicted murderer Charles Manson. He co-wrote "Manson in His Own Words". From the estate of Manson's biographer NUEL (MELTON) EMMONS (1927-2002) who first met Charles Manson when he was imprisoned for auto theft in 1956, and again under similar circumstances in 1960. After that, Mr. Emmons began a career as a photojournalist. In 1979, he contacted Manson and began the extensive interviews that resulted in Manson's autobiography "Manson in His Own Words". Huge lot of Emmons typed working typescripts, manuscripts, proposed film scripts, and some professional correspondence, literally thousands of pages, all associated with Charles Manson and what would ultimately become "Manson in His Own Words". The book was a huge commercial success as the public craved Manson's perspective on view on his upbringing, his "family", the infamous murders, and his life in prison. A very large grouping, not examined by us and sold as a lot.

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, FedEx and DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight. Please contact us for an estimate before bidding NOTE: Large, heavy or bulky items may not be shipped by the auctioneer - arrangements for shipping of these items via a third-party shipper may be arranged through the auction house. Customers who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee. Please allow 2-3 weeks for shipments after receipt of payment due to the high volume of packages being shipped.
