CHARLES LINDBERGH
(1902-1974) American aviator who, in his plane, The Spirit of St. Louis, was the first to fly solo non-stop across the Atlantic Ocean. T.L.S. "C. A. Lindbergh" 1p. oblong 4to. on his Guggenheim Fund letterhead, New York, May 3, 1930 to H. Allen Smith thanking him "very much for your letter of May 5th and for the information which you so kindly gave me". Folds, light glue stain at bottom right and tiny loss at upper left, mounted to larger sheet, and adorned at left with a small magazine photo of Lindbergh giving a "Bellamy Salute" often mistaken for a fascist salute, else very good.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
