CHARLES BERESFORD(1846 - 1919) 1st Baron Beresford, British admiral active in the bombardment of Alexandria and in the Nile Expedition, aide-de-camp for Queen Victoria. A fine lot of seven items, includes: A.L.S. 1p. 8vo., [House of Commons], June 2, [n.y.], presenting a petition to the House of Commons. Along with six manuscript D.S. 1p. 4to. each, being memoranda for the quartermaster in the General's department, requesting routes and so forth. Each signed at conclusion "Beresford Commdt". A.L.S. bears mounting traces and staple hole at top left, otherwise good condition. Overall good to very good.
