Description:

CHARLES A. LINDBERGH
(1902-1974) American aviator who, in his plane, The Spirit of St. Louis, was the first to fly solo non-stop across the Atlantic Ocean. Biographical notes (not signed), penned on a 4to. sheet to which a "Who's Who" entry has been affixed. Lindbergh corrects two lines, removing crossing out "Univ." twice in the line about his education, and adding in "children" in place of "son", and one other, "Jan Morrow". Boldly executed in green ink. Light water damage to right edge affects one word, otherwise very good. With an original 7" x 9" b/w press photo showing Lindbergh in his plane.
