CHARLES A. LINDBERGH
(1902-1974) American aviator who, in his "Spirit of St. Louis", was the first to fly solo non-stop across the Atlantic Ocean. S.P. 5" x 7" b/w, the frontis portrait from his autobiography We showing Lindbergh standing before the Spirit of St. Louis. boldly signed on verso: "Sincerely, Charles A. Lindbergh Sept. 19, 1929". A miniscule hole is evident on Lindbergh's chest, barely noticeable, else fine condition. Sold with a first edition copy of the book, complete with frontis portrait, G. P. Putnam's sons, New York, July, 1927, rebound in 1/4 blue leather with raised hub spine and gilt lettering.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
