Manuscript L.S. on railroad letterhead, 2pp. 4to., Lafayette, Nov. 30, 1878 in which Chapman refuses to recognize an agreement made between several railroad lines due to the violation of several stipulations in the contract by a company receiver. Minor chips at bottom, else very good. $30-50
