CARTOONIST GROUP Grouping of signed cartoons, includes an autograph by famed Mad Magazine artist DON MARTIN above a photocopied character illustration with a 1988 rubberstamp (one vertical fold); an original humorous single panel cartoon strip by Playboy/New Yorker cartoonist VIRGIL "VIP" PARTCH, adding additional signature and address on verso (one fold); a photocopy of "Nancy", hand colored, inscribed and signed by MARK LASKY, artist/writer/editor of Mighty Mouse, Underdog, and Bullwinkle who took over the Nancy strip following the death of originator Ernie Bushmiller, only to die shortly afterwards at age 29. Also includes an original 1996 inked illustration of Nancy and Sluggo by later artist GUY GILCHRIST, a printed birthday card signed inside by award winning children's book author SANDRA BOYNTON; a colored original cartoon of "Mr. Abernathy" signed by FRANK RIDGEWAY; an original ink illustration of Uncle Sam by political cartoonist ELDON PLETCHER; an original 1985 line drawing of a figure in profile by "Quality Time" cartoonist GAIL MACHLIS, a 1993 velox repro of a three panel "Cheap Thrills Cuisine" strip, signed at left by co-creators, cartoonist THACH BUI and chef WILLIAM LOMBARDO; an original ink illustration by "Ernie" creator BO GRACE of his character along with another autographed note $100 - 150
