918. CARTE-DE-VISITE FIFTH MASSACHUSSETS (COLORED) CAVALRY LIEUT. Carte-de-visite image of Lieutenant Henry P. Bowditch of the 5th Mass. (Colored) Cavalry. He is posed seated at a table in three-quarter profile. Bowditch was wounded at New Hope Church, Virginia on Nov. 11, 1863. Excellent tone, Whippler backstamp, very good. $150-200
