651. CAPT. KENNETH A. LAPLANT SIGNAL CORPS GROUPING A fine, large grouping of material from the estate of Capt. Kenneth A. Laplant, attached to the 4th Signal Service Corps during World War II. There are dozens of items in the archive, mostly of which surrounds operations in the New York area, including about 80 photographs, almost all 8" x 10", depicting officers greeting their Nationalist Chinese counterparts, radio operations in the field, largely promotions and demotions, massive numbers of tanks and soldiers on parade on the streets of New York, field maneuvers, commanding officers, and so on. Paper items include several dozen reports, largely promotions and demotions. Overall very good. 200 - 300
