Payment is made for: "...one Bay horse 4 yrs old, fourteen hands high for the wagon...", and appraised in value by "two Freeholders, on Affirmation..." Typical numerous ink notations, with endorsements on verso, with the right edge border design bearing the word "PENNSYLVANIA" in block letters. An important bond providing for horses for the Continental Army. $500-600
