446. BULLET IN WOOD A nice Petersburg relic, a .58 caliber Springfield rifle minie ball in a 8 1/2" x 1 1/2" section of wood cut from a mature tree on the battlefield of Petersburg. Obtained by our consignor years ago from a Pennsylvania museum. Also included is the original museum label identifying the piece as from the B. F. Cobb collection. Nice for display. $100-150
