BUCHENWALD MEDICAL DOCUMENTS
A pair of typed Ds.S. on air mail weight letterhead, 1p. oblong 8vo. each, being orders for medical supplies for Buchenwald concentration camp. The first is dated Oct. 17, 1938, and addressed to the "Bacteriological Institute" in Jena, requesting: "...Please duplicate the previous order and send as soon as possible 50 'Wa' - bags - for blood or liquor analysis...". Likely initialed by camp doctor Dr. Erwin Ding-Schuler [?]. The second, Feb. 14, 1941, requests that the "Firm of Walter Fullenbach" in Jena send "Cystokops with provision for the double-sided urethra catheter with optics from Professor Ringleb...". Initials at bottom believed to be those of camp doctor SS Untersturmführer Dr. Wagner. File holes at left, otherwise very good condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
