Includes: Pamphlet (London: Charles Bill) 1709, 6pp. 4to., printed during the reign of Queen Anne and containing the text of a law promoting the importation of foreign coins and metal to England for coinage, the establishment of a mint in Scotland, and the punishment of counterfeiting. Minor foxing, else very good. WITH: Pamphlet (London: Charles Bill), 1700, 4pp. 4to., printed during the reign of William III and containing the text of a law "...preventing... Frivolous and Vexatious Suits..." in Wales and other palatinate counties. Some chipping along the top and left margins, with moderate paper loss along the left, else very good. WITH: Pamphlet (London: Charles Bill), 1690, 24pp. 4to., printed during the reign of William and Mary and containing the text of a law levying specific "... Duties of Excise upon Beer, Ale, and other Liquors..." Minor foxing and toning, else very good. WITH: Pamphlet (London; Thomas Baskett), 1759, 8pp. 4to., printed during the reign of George II and containing the text of a law reducing taxes on the export of copper bars, silk, and ship's rigging, and increasing the duties levied upon the importation of the same. Spine secured with a modern binding strip, else very good. WITH: Pamphlet (London: John Baskett), 1727, 4pp. 4to., printed during the reign of George I and containing the text of a law allowing the import of salt from Europe to the American colony of Pennsylvania. Minor foxing and slight chipping at the left margin, else very good. WITH: Pamphlet (London: Charles Eyre and William Strahan), 1774, 6pp. 4to., printed during the reign of George III and containing the text of a law prohibiting the import of silver coinage into Great Britain and Ireland. Very good. All pamphlets feature the seal of the Most Noble Order of the Garter on the front cover.

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight. Please contact us for an estimate before bidding NOTE: Large, heavy or bulky items may not be shipped by the auctioneer - arrangements for shipping of these items via a third-party shipper may be arranged through the auction house. Customers who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee. Please allow 14 - 21 days for shipments to arrive after receipt of payment due to the high volume of package being shipped.
