BREWERIES AND BEER BREWING
Fine grouping of early material concerning brewing and breweries. Included is an A.D.S., 1p. 4to., New York, 1795, a petition from one Samuel Atlee "Porter Brewer", asking that as he has taken over a local brewery he may be considered for citizenship (fold splits and wear); a May 30, 1839 signed invoice from a Dublin brewer itemizing "107 Casks Bottled Beer" to be shipped from Liverpool to Philadelphia, with U.S. Customs document; 20pp. of ca. 1800 manuscript recipes for spruce beer, mead, ale with treacle, etc.; and an 1810 American almanac with a recipe for beer within. Overall very good.

Shipments are sent USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight.
